Originally from North London, a committed carnivore, ‘Meatopia’ alumni & lover of all
things steak, Stephen has taken Upstairs at the Grill by the horns as the Head Chef.

Working closely with master butchers, perfecting the art of ageing meat & the skill of the coal-fired
oven, his passion for perfection is inspiring. (He’ll be the one wearing the flat cap!)

Inspired by the legendary steakhouses of New York & born in 2002, Upstairs at the Grill has
become a Chester staple.
