Martin Taylor – The Sandbar Seafood Shack

Surfing Chef Martin Taylor is passionate about championing seafood, particularly British produce. After over a decade of running some of Chester’s top kitchens and cooking for celebrities and Royalty, Martin decided to travel the world in search of surf breaks. What he discovered was that in most countries with a beach or a tidal river nearby, one can easily find affordable and quick seafood. Inspired by this observation, Martin returned to Chester and opened The Sandbar Seafood Shack in Chester Market, with the mission of providing accessible and delicious seafood.

This year the acclaimed Sandbar Seafood Shack is set to expand its offerings with the opening of a restaurant that specialises in Seafood here in the city of Chester. This new restaurant will showcase amazing food that celebrates local and seasonal produce
