From a young age, Sean Noonan’s passion for the culinary world has driven his remarkable career. Starting as a professional chef at just 15, Sean has honed his skills in some of the finest establishments, embracing diverse cooking techniques and consistently striving for excellence.
By 18, Sean had already earned prestigious accolades, including the Diamond Teflon Standard National Young Chef of the Year and Northwest Young Chef Semi-Final Winner 2019. His talent and dedication were further recognized in 2021 with the Craft Guild of Chefs Culinary Hero Award.
At only 22, Sean achieved the impressive milestone of becoming Head Chef at a gastro pub in St Helens. Since then, he has led the kitchens of numerous esteemed venues and currently holds the title of Head Chef at Mercure Dunkenhalgh Blackburn.
Sean is deeply committed to using locally sourced, fresh, and seasonal ingredients, proudly supporting British farming in every dish he creates. Equally passionate about the future of the culinary industry, he is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of chefs and fostering a love for the craft he cherishes so much.
