Rupert is the cofounder alongside Lisa Hinze of All About Greens the UK’s first online Plant-Based Food Foundation Course for aspiring and professional chefs.
Releasing the first of a three-part course in June 2021, The Foundation in Plant-based Cooking will form the basis of a professional level culinary course designed to engage and support learners who are unable to attend a culinary school in person, because of the pandemic.
The Foundation Course is aimed at aspiring and professional chefs, as well as at home cooks, offering the chance to be part of the UK’s first plant-based cooking culinary school experience.
The All About Greens Plant-Based Foundation Course is delivered online in a small group setting and through video demonstrations and step-by-step guides. The course covers everything from basic knife skills, vegetable preparation and cooking techniques, through to specific recipes for stocks, sauces, pastas, desserts and more.
Co-founder, All About Greens, Rupert Worden explains, “There’s no doubt that the interest in plant-based cooking has grown massively over the past few years and this increase in popularity has changed the way in which restaurants and chefs approach their menus.
“There’s a huge gap in the market for an immersive introduction to plant-based cooking and that’s what our online Foundation Course aims to fulfil. Geared at supporting both aspiring and fully established chefs, the course aims to help them navigate the new environment and become competent, confident and inspired when cooking plant-based food.”
