Terms and Conditions for Ticket Purchase – Chester Food and Drink Festival

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of tickets for the Chester Food and Drink Festival (the “Event”). By purchasing a ticket, you (“Ticket Holder” or “You”) agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Ticket Purchase & Validity
– Tickets are sold by Taste Cheshire, the official organiser of the Event.
– All tickets are non-refundable except in the case of Event cancellation or significant changes (see Section 5).
– Tickets must be presented in either printed or digital form for entry.
– Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets may not be replaced.

2. Admission & Conduct
– The Event reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee for inappropriate behaviour, including intoxication, harassment, or violation of safety rules.
– Re-entry may be subject to restrictions; check with Event staff.
– Children under 5 (if applicable) may enter free but must be supervised at all times.

3. Event Changes & Cancellations
– Taste Cheshire reserves the right to alter the Event schedule, venue, or lineup without notice.
– In case of Event cancellation, refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
– No refunds will be given for partial cancellations (e.g., individual vendor cancellations or weather disruptions unless the Event is entirely cancelled).

4. Liability & Responsibility
– Attendees participate at their own risk. Taste Cheshire is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to property.
– Food and drink samples are consumed at the attendee’s discretion. Allergy information is the responsibility of the vendor.
– Photography and filming may occur at the Event; by attending, you consent to your image being used for promotional purposes.

5. Prohibited Items & Activities
– Outside food and drink may be restricted (check Event guidelines).
– No illegal substances, weapons, or hazardous items.

6. Resale & Transfer
– Tickets are for personal use only. Unauthorised resale or commercial use may result in entry refusal without refund.

7. Data Protection
– Personal data collected during ticket purchase will be used in accordance with Taste Cheshire’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

8. Governing Law
– These Terms are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
