This year at the Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Festival we want to award our special four legged friends and we have teamed up with local Chester Dog carers, Canine Capers, to help us herald and highlight those special members of the family that give us so much joy.
At 2pm on Sunday 21st April, next to the Camperfest Hub at the back of the festival, we invite you to bring your dog and compete for the titles of.
Waggiest tail – always hotly contested
Best Trick – can any dog pull a rabbit out of their hat – or indeed not chase one!
Prettiest bitch – Can get particualry catty, to mix metaphors
Most Handsome boy – like any boy do would want to have this on his CV!
Best veteran (8+) – Loads of love to give here.
Scruffiest mutt – no mater how we try they still get in to this state – you just know thats your dog.
Plus the Fun Agility, – lets see that special bond of respect and obediance between master and dog, or is it the other way around
The whole thing will take about 90 minutes and Canine Capers will award the trophies and rosettes at the end of the show. Its a bit of fun that means your dogs get the chance to mingle, meet and star over the Easter weekend.
Entry is just £2 per category with all proceeds going to the “Saving Balkan Boxer Dogs Charity”, a little know charity that helps Boxer Dogs in Romania and desperately need our help.
You dont have to go to the festival to take part in this, you simply enter your dog online here. All we ask if that you turn up at 1.30pm with your dog in the specially built dog display area. We only have capacity for 20 dogs in each categoryWe cant wait for the action to begin.
Important: You do not have to buy tickets to the Food Festival to take part in this event. The event area is outside the Food Festival
