We are proud to announce we have just confirmed our biggest and best line up of chefs – ever.
The first is Simon Rimmer, he has been with us before but after a couple of years off we are delighted to have him back. Star of Channel 4’s, Sunday Brunch and of course Strictly Come Dancing last year, with mixed success – he’s a much better cook! Simon is a brilliant chef who cooks food that we all want to eat and can actually make, now there’s a change. He is also a great entertainer on the stage and is terrific to spend time with. He is live, twice on Saturday the 20th April.
On Sunday the 21st April we have major TV star, all round entertainer of stage and screen and judge of The Great British Menu, Andi Oliver cooking on our stages. Andi is a former member of the band Rip Rig + Panic; one of their notable television appearances was on the cult comedy show, The Young Ones. She used to co-host the Channel 4 television show Baadasss TV alongside Ice-T and frequently appears on the BBC World Service and the BBC’s annual coverage of Glastonbury as well as having her own cooking programme with Neneh Cherry. We are really looking forward to getting to know her.
Which brings us to Monday where some would argue we save the best till last and this is when Matt Tebbut of Saturday Kitchen will be on our stage. Matt hosts the top rated BBC programme as well as having starred in Channel 4’s Food Unwrapped and The Good Food shows, Market Kitchen.
This is a stellar line up of top line chefs who are also fabulous live entertainers and I wholly recommended you plan your day around at least seeing one of their sessions on each day. They are of course all free to see and included in your entry ticket. They are supported by some of the top Cheshire and North Wales, Chef Du Patrons and great cooking competitions.
